Podemos observar que muitos jovens esto dispostos a mudar o mundo, porm, em contraste a essa afirmao, dados demonstram que ainda grande o nmero evaso dos mesmos durante o Ensino Mdio. Esse fato pode ser atribudo a diferentes motivos: a violncia e ingresso na criminalidade, convivncia familiar conflitante, m qualidade de ensino, falta de interesse ou a necessidade de trabalhar para ajudar a famlia ou a si prprio. Outro fator que contribui com a evaso escolar, a falta de estmulos aos professores que, em geral, vm sendo desestimulados pela baixa remunerao ou salrios pouco atraentes, ausncia de um plano de carreira promissor e recompensador, falta de infraestrutura adequada nas escolas e a falta de valorizao profissional perante a sociedade, o que, por consequncia, desestimula tambm o ingresso de jovens recm-formados na carreira da licenciatura. Nesse sentido, a necessidade de mecanismos que resgatem a qualidade do ensino nas escolas eminente e a Universidade pode desempenhar um papel importante, pois representa uma fonte geradora de conhecimento e tecnologia, que nem sempre chegam populao. Assim a difuso de conhecimento e tecnologia, no Ensino Mdio, representa um passo promissor na popularizao da cincia e o incio para a busca do interesse dos jovens ao conhecimento cientfico e suas tecnologias, atravs de oficinas e exposies que tem contribudo para a divulgao cientfica. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de avaliar a apreciao dos alunos do Ensino Mdio que participaram de oficinas de frias propostas pelo Projeto de Extenso Difundindo e popularizando a Cincia. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de sistematizaes das respostas coletadas junto aos alunos que expressaram suas concepes sobre as oficinas a partir de formulrios especficos. Among living beings, the human species is distinguished by the need to produce material and intentionally its existence through labor, an important part of a process of humanization. However, in the current historical conditions, the work does not meet the vital needs of the vast majority, as they do not owned what they produce, they do not realize as humans beings in work activity, they dehumanize themselves. Since, even in such conditions, continue to work everyday, we ask ourselves how they support the condition in which they live. As the decision of the historical men are defined by the education process they experienced, we question whether the schooling that take places in capitalist public school has the purpose of developing an instruction in the working class graduating to be exploited at work throughout life, consenting to be bound of the relationships use of themselves by others, multiple determinate, while they are adapted to a life without the products work. Our hypothesis is that to make this education project, the public school needed to assimilate the scientific management, developed by Frederyck Taylor, in the pedagogical organization. We based on dialectical and historical materialism, which we established the public school environment as reproducing the class struggle, highlighting the teacher work. The goal of this work is to study the process of interaction of protons with matter through Monte Carlo simulation. For this purpose, it was employed the SRIM program (Stopping and Range of Ions in Matter ) and MCNPX (Monte Carlo N-Particle eXtended) v2.50. This work is going to support the development of a tomography system with protons. It was studied the interaction of proton with the follow materials: Polimethyl Mehacralate (PMMA), MS20 Tissue Substitute and water. This work employed energies in range of 50 MeV and 250 MeV, that is the range of clinical interest. The energy loss of proton after cross a material layer, the decreasing of its intensity, the angular and lateral de ection of incident beam, including and excluding nuclear interactions. This work is related with Medical Physics and Material Physics, like interaction of radiation with matter, particle transport phenomena, and the experimental methods in Nuclear Physics like simulation and computational by Monte Carlo method

Cosmic radiation has been identi ed as one of the main hazard to crew, aircraft and sensitive equipments involved in long-term missions and even high-altitude commercial ights. Generally, shields are used in spatial units to avoid excessive exposure, by holding the incident radiation. Unfortunatelly, shielding in space is problematic, especially when high-energy cosmic particles are considered, due to the production of large number of secondary particles, mainly neutrons, protons and alpha particles, caused by spallation reactions and quasi-elastic processes of the corpuscular radiation with the shield. Good parameters for checking the secondary particle production at target material are diferential cross section and energy deposited in the shield. Addition experiments, some computer codes based on Monte Carlo method show themselves a suitable tool to calculate shield parameters, due to have evaluated nuclear data libraries implemented on the algorithm. In view of this, the aim of this work is determining the parameters evaluated in shielding materials, by using MCNPX code, who shows good agreement with experimental data from literature. A remarkable characteristic of the physics subject is the abstraction ability needed during the learning process, which means a non-trivial comprehension and understanding. If the students could not link the themes learned in this subject with observable effects, physics would tend to be a group of mathematical formulas to be memorized. In general, it creates a distance between the student and the subject, and also a prejudice vision of the physics, sometimes for the whole life. Beyond this particular characteristics of physics, the education deals with a source of distraction reinforced by the popularization of mobile access such as cellphones and tablets. The traditional role played by the teacher becomes weak to attract students attention. It is necessary that the classes could be planned in such way to achieve three goals: attract student attention, link analytical concepts with real effects and, the most important, gives to the student the ability to use the learned concepts as the key to develop new knowledge. In this work, we present a research based in some experiments used in a CBEF (Brazilian magazine about physical education) and develop an activity consistent with the aims to be reached. To prepare of the experimental activity, we based on Piaget and Vygotsky theories. This work aimed to developed a theoretical research to obtain a didactical activity that deals with the current challenges of the society
