Uma sinapse científica: a neurociência encontra a psicologia

The aim of this paper is to present aspects of the prominent findings of neuroscience in relation to psychological phenomena long studied in psychology. One of the basic points of this presentation is to show briefly the relationship between the anatomical and physiological structures linked to certain human behavior resulting from the evolution of species and the socio-emotional development of the individual.

O objetivo desse artigo é apresentar aspectos entre as eminentes descobertas das neurociências em relação aos fenômenos psicológicos há muito estudado pela psicologia. Um dos pontos básicos dessa apresentação é mostrar sucintamente a relação entre as estruturas anatomofisiológicas ligadas a certos comportamentos humanos conseqüentes da evolução da espécie e do desenvolvimento sócio-afetivo do indivíduo.
