Avaliação do valor nutritivo da torta de coco (Cocos nucifera L.) para suplementação alimentar de ruminantes na Amazônia Oriental

Foram avaliados os efeitos que a inclusão de níveis de torta de coco (Cocos nucifera L.), O,4%; 0,8% e 1,2%PV, sobre os consumos e as digestibilidades aparentes da matéria seca (DAMS); matéria orgânica (DAMO); proteína bruta (DAPB); extrato etéreo (DAEE); energia bruta (DAEB); fibra em detergente neutro (DAFDN); fibra em detergente ácida (DAFDA). O volumoso foi o capim quicuio-daamazônia (Brachiaria humidicola). Foi realizado um ensaio metabólico, utilizando 16 ovinos inteiros, com média de peso vivo de 28 kg, distribuídos em quatro tratamentos em delineamento inteiramente casualizado. Houve um período adaptativo de 14 dias com 7 dias de coleta de dados, onde se monitorou o fornecimento da dieta e a coleta total de fezes. As digestibilidades aparentes DAMS; DAMO; DAEB e DAFDA tiveram efeitos lineares crescentes no intervalo de inclusão 0,4% até 1,2%PV. A DAPB apresentou efeito quadrático, com melhor nível de inclusão para PB, 0,66%PV e DAPB máxima 62,9%. A DAFDN, também, se apresentou de modo quadrático, onde o melhor nível de inclusão ocorreu quando se incluiu 0,89% PV e DAFDN máxima de 59,39%. O teor de EE na dieta afetou a DAMS segundo a equação y = 17,85 - 28,92x; R² = 0,38, onde o aumento na inclusão afetou negativamente a digestão da DAMS. Conclui-se que a torta de coco (Cocos nucifera L.) é uma excelente fonte de proteína e energia para ruminantes, e pode contribuir no atendimento das demandas nutricionais para produção de carne e leite na Amazônia Oriental, com baixo custo.

ABSTRACT: Were evaluated the inclusion of different levels of coconut cake (Cocos nucifera L.) 0.4%, 0.8% and 1.2% PV, by the consumption and the apparent digestibility of dry matter (ADDM); organic matter (ADOM); crude protein (ADCD); etereo extract (ADEE); crude energy (ADCE); fiber in neutral detergent (ADFND); fiber in acid detergent (ADFAD). The grass utilized was quicuio-da-amazônia (Brachiaria humidicola). It was realized a metabolic essay with 16 ovines (28 kg average) for four treatments in a completely randomized experimental design. The experimental period was 21 days (14 days of adaptation and 7 days for the collection of data) where was controlled the supplying diet and the faeces. The ADDM, ADOM, ADCE, ADFAD had a linear effects with a inclusion from 0.4% to 1.2% PV. The ADCD showed a quadratic effect, with a better level of inclusion for PB, 0.66% PV and maximum ADCD, 62.9%. The ADFND was also showed in a quadratic way, where the better level of inclusion was 0.89% PV and the maximum ADFND of 59.39%. The EE on the diet affected the ADDM according to the equation y = 17.85 = 28.92x; R² = 0.38, where the increase affected negatively the digestion of the ADDM. The coconut cake (Cocos nucifera L.) is an excellent protein and energy source for the ruminants and attends nutritional demands for milk and meat production, in the Eastern Amazon, with low cost.
