Transdisciplinaridade e plantas medicinais no empoderamento de mulheres em busca de sustentabilidade no sul do Brasil e norte da Espanha: experiências de resgate de conhecimentos

Este estudo, partiu do princípio de que no caso das plantas medicinais, as mulheres historicamente detinham um certo poder na arte de cura e construção de conhecimentos, que ao longo dos séculos de domínio patriarcal foi “ocultado”. Neste contexto, vislumbrou-se a possibilidade do resgate deste poder, levando-se em conta que a construção de uma “sociedade planetária” sustentável depende da necessidade de se discutir os rumos do desenvolvimento sustentável e a construção de um novo paradigma aberto a discutir as bases das relações de gênero. Neste sentido, o objetivo do estudo, foi desenvolver um processo de construção transdisciplinar com mulheres de comunidades da região Sul de Santa Catarina - Brasil e do Norte da Espanha - Montanha Palentina, tendo como foco, o resgate de conhecimentos teórico-práticos sobre plantas medicinais e a promoção do empoderamento dessa população, no âmbito do desenvolvimento sustentável. Através da abordagem qualitativa integrativa à luz da transdisciplinaridade e da perspectiva de gênero, o estudo concretizou-se, utilizando-se de análise documental com base no método de sistematização de práticas sociais e método de pesquisa participante com princípios da etnografia. This study, assumed that, in the case of medicinal plants, women have historically held a certain power, in the art of healing and in its knowledge construction, which over the centuries of patriarchal domination was hidden. In this context, envisioned the possibility of rescue of this power, taking into account that the construction of a sustainable planetary society depends on the need to discuss the direction of sustainable development and the construction of a new paradigm open to discuss the bases of gender relations. In this sense, the objective of this study was a process of developing and building in a transdisciplinary way, with women from communities in the Southern region of Santa Catarina-Brazil and the Northern Spain - Montaña Palentina focusing, the theoretical-practical knowledge rescue about medicinal plants and the promotion of the empowerment of the population, in the context of its sustainable development. Through a qualitative approach in the light of integrative transdisciplinarity and the gender perspectives, the study was carried out, using documentary analysis based on the method of systematization of social practices and the research method of participants with principles of Ethnography.
