Resumo

This study expands the knowledge of the mechanisms that cause wool to yellow. It established that metals in wool influence the production of free radicals and the extent of degradation and yellowing of photo-irradiated wool. It also examined the relationship between the colour and trace metal content of fleece wool.<br />
