Estrutura metálica do teto falso da sala de comando da central Venda Nova III – acompanhamento da conceção, fabrico e montagem

O primeiro objetivo deste relatório, que adiante se desenvolve, é apresentar o trabalho realizado para a obtenção de conhecimentos que justifiquem a atribuição do grau de mestre em engenharia, no ramo das construções. O estágio, que a este trabalho dá sustentação, foi feito na empresa Metaloviana, onde foi possível acompanhar as várias fases de conceção, fabrico e montagem de um teto falso, designadamente na sala de comando da central Venda Nova III, de aproveitamento hidroelétrico. Tendo Portugal objetivos cada vez mais ambiciosos na utilização de energias renováveis, aproveitando, entre outros, os recursos hídricos para a produção de eletricidade, a EDP Produção fez estudos onde verificou que a realização de reforços de potência em aproveitamento já existentes, seria uma forma economicamente bastante atrativa e ao mesmo tempo responderia às crescentes solicitações energéticas. É neste âmbito que se insere o Reforço de Potência em Venda Nova III. A empresa Metaloviana, com instalações fabris em Viana do Castelo, tem todo um historial e capacidade, reconhecida nacional e internacionalmente. Este, confere a certeza de ter acompanhado um trabalho de ponta, devidamente creditado e fundamentado numa qualidade e mérito, por demais reconhecido.

The first objective of this report that forward we develop is to present the work performed to obtain the knowledge that justify the acquisition of the master degree in civil engineering. The internship that gives support to this work was made on the corporation Metaloviana, where it was possible to follow the several stages of conception, manufacture and assembly of a false ceiling, mainly on the control room of Venda Nova III central, of hydroelectric utility. Since Portugal has goals increasingly ambitious in the use of renewable energies, and taking advantage, among others, of water resources for the electricity production , EDP Produção has made studies where it was possible to conclude that performing backup power in structures already in use, would be a very attractive economically way, while it would respond to the increasing energy requirements. It is in this context that appears the backup power in Venda Nova III. The Metaloviana Corporation, with facilities in Viana do Castelo has an historical capability with both national and international recognition. This gives the certainty to been following a top work, fundament in quality and achievement, to the vary recognition. This document belongs to a curricular internship to the final work of master's degree in Civil Engineering from ISEP, in the construction industry, aiming to connect academic knowledge with practical aspects of professional practice in the field of metal construction to apply in the false ceiling of the central command room in Venda Nova III.
