Produção cultural: do privado ao público: dois mundos, duas realidades

Relatório de Estágio submetido à Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Teatro - especialização em Produção.

O presente relatório refere-se ao estágio de mestrado em Produção, realizado no São Luiz Teatro Municipal, entre fevereiro e maio de 2011 e teve como objetivo relatar todo o período de estágio, descrevendo todas as suas fases de trabalho, missões e objetivos. No entanto, tornou-se fundamental refletir sobre as duas realidades nas quais trabalhei: estruturas privadas e estruturas públicas. Assim, caracterizei quer umas quer outras, mostrando igualmente o meu percurso em ambas. Da participação neste estágio e da participação em estágios e trabalhos desenvolvidos anteriormente resultaram os registos que apresento, sobre a temática da gestão e organização de estruturas privadas versus estruturas públicas: a) nas estruturas privadas existe uma multidimensionalidade das tarefas desenvolvidas a nível artístico, de gestão e de organização; contrariamente, nas estruturas públicas existe um esquema organizacional bem definido, com limites de ações estabelecidos; b) nas estruturas privadas, os recursos financeiros são escassos e as condições de trabalho precárias; nas estruturas públicas há maior segurança e estabilidade quer financeira quer profissional, apesar da crise socioeconómica que atravessamos; c) nas estruturas privadas há maior companheirismo e espírito de interajuda, só possível em pequenas estruturas; nas estruturas públicas, pela especificidade, existe um espírito colaborativo mais controlado. Com este relatório pretende-se dar um pequeno contributo para o desenvolvimento da organização e gestão de equipamentos e estruturas culturais do nosso país.

ABSTRACT - The present report concerns to the master degree in Production internship at São Luiz Municipal Theatre between February and May 2011 and had as its objective to report the internship period, describing all the phases of the work, tasks and objectives. However, it became fundamental to reflect about the two realities that I worked on: private and public entities. Therefore, I characterized both, showing equally my way through both. My participation in this internship and internships and works done before resulted in the registered information that I will present, in the thematic of management and organization of private versus public entities: a) in the private entities there exists a multidimensional of tasks to be developed at an artistic, management and organizational level; on the contrary, in the public entities, there exists a well defined organizational scheme; b) in the private entities, the resources are limited and the work is precarious; in public entities are more secure and stability whether it be financial or professional, in spite of the socio-economic crisis; c) in the private entities there is a greater comradeship and willing to be helpful, only possible in small structures; in the public entities, due to the structural and functional specificity, the collaborative spirit is more controlled. This report hopes to give a small contribution to the development of organization and management of equipments and cultural structures in our country.
