A diferença evolutiva de alunos do projeto Orquestra Geração e das escolas vocacionais de música: a importância dos agentes de motivação

Resumo I (Prática Pedagógica) - Nesta secção do relatório de estágio pretende-se expor e caracterizar todos os elementos referentes à prática pedagógica, integrada no estágio, que ocorreu em parceria com a Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional (EMCN) e o Projecto Orquestra Geração realizado no ano letivo de 2014/2015. Este tem por objetivo, a abordagem dos aspetos pedagógicos, as metodologias de ensino, a eficácia do trabalho, a motivação e os agentes motivacionais. Para a elaboração deste relatório, foram observados e devidamente analisados três alunos de forma peculiar. Porém, é de realçar que um dos intervenientes pertencia à EMCN e as aulas apenas eram observadas. Ao longo do ano letivo foram elaborados individualmente para cada aluno, vinte e dois planos de aula e ainda realizadas três gravações de aulas que foram vistas pelo professor orientador. À posteriori serão caraterizadas as duas entidades que fizeram parceria, contribuindo para a possível realização do relatório de estágio. Será abordada a sua contextualização histórica, os parâmetros de ensino, o contexto sociocultural. De seguida, será apresentada a caraterização dos três alunos, abordando nomeadamente, o seu meio envolvente, os métodos de estudo e a evolução motora, expressiva e auditiva. Serão analisadas e descritas algumas das práticas de ensino, desenvolvidas quer ao longo das aulas individuais, quer da observação das gravações e da análise constante dos planos de aulas e das planificações. Para finalizar o relatório de estágio, será elaborada uma reflexão crítica, acerca do desempenho como docente e respetiva prática pedagógica trabalhada com os alunos.

Resumo II (Investigação) - Na segunda secção do relatório de estágio é desenvolvido o projeto de investigação, trabalhado ao longo do Mestrado em Ensino da Música. Como professora de Oboé pelo primeiro ano letivo do Projeto Orquestra Geração e do ensino oficial da música, para a proposta de tese a mestranda propõe-se investigar as diferentes evoluções de alunos que pertencem ao Projeto Orquestra Geração e aos que se regem pelos princípios das escolas vocacionais de música. Para a elaboração desta dissertação, serão analisadas as evoluções de alunos dos mesmos graus (iniciação, básico e secundário) nos diferentes métodos de ensino, observados e analisados os graus de motivação de ambos e perceber até que ponto a evolução do ensino do oboé ou de um instrumento é eficaz sem a execução de estudos técnicos, mas através da prática de escalas e da prática de excertos orquestrais, muitos deles inicialmente através da imitação e com parte da sua carga horária em disciplinas de grupo. Na parte inicial será explicado o tema abordado para investigação, objetivos, estratégias e métodos desenvolvidos. De seguida, serão descritos e analisados os diferentes métodos de ensino e as grandes diferenças entre ambos: a importância do papel do professor, da escola e do aluno, das suas famílias e do meio envolvente, na evolução da aprendizagem e nos níveis de motivação dos alunos. Por fim, serão analisados todos os elementos usados para se obter um resultado, como a análise das entrevistas feitas a professores e alunos dos diferentes ensinos e a observação de um documentário. Terminará assim a investigação com a observação dos resultados positivos e negativos feitos através da análise de todas estas ferramentas.

ABSTRACT I (Teaching) - At this stage section of the report aims to expose and characterize all aspects of the teaching practice, which were part of the traineeship, in a partnership with the National Conservatory Music School of Lisbon (EMCN) and the 'Orchestra Geração' Project and took place in the academic year 2014/2015. In this report of the internship we intend to focus on the pedagogical aspects, teaching methodologies, work efficiency, motivation and motivational aspects which took place. To prepare this report, it was a observed and analysed three students, was made including one from the EMCN. For each of them a 22 lesson plan was made to cover the academic year. They were drawn up as well as annual planning and three video recordings at each class was made. These lessons had the presence and assistance of a monitor teacher. In this report mention of the two pedagogical entities that have been in partnership for the making of this probationary report and where their historical contexts will be shown as well as their teaching parameters and sociocultural context. Following on from that study reference of the three pupils will be made, explaining features such as their physical environment, methods of study, mobility development, musical expressivity and auditory awareness. Analysis will be made of some of the teaching practices introduced and developed during the individual classes as well as the observation of the video recordings and a continuous analysis of the lesson plans. Concluding the report a critical reflection on the performance as a teacher and the pedagogical practice worked with the students during this time will be made.

ABSTRACT II (Research) - The second internship section of the report is where it expands the research project during the work for the Master in Music Education degree. As oboe teacher for the first academic year of the “Orquestra Geração” project and also of vocational music school teaching this thesis plan intends to investigate the different evolvement of students belonging to the "El Sistema" project and those who are enrolled in music conservatories. For the preparation of this work student progress will be analyzed with students of the same level (initiation, primary and secondary) and with their different teaching methods. The degree of motivation of both methods will be observed and analyzed to discover to what extent the development of teaching the oboe is effective without the use of technical studies, but by studying scales and orchestral excerpts, often initially by methods of imitation. The first part will explain the way used for research with objectives, strategies and methods established. Following that, the different teaching methods and the various differences between them will be discussed and analyzed taking into account the importance of the role of teacher, the school and the pupils, their families and background, in their learning levels and motivation. Finally, they will analyze all the elements used to obtain results, with interviews made with teachers and students of different teaching methods and with a video documentary. The investigation is concluded with an observation and analysis of both the positive and negative results.
