Da Revolução Bolchevique à ditadura estalinista : opções de ensino-aprendizagem

Relatório da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, Mestrado em Ensino de História e Geografia no 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, Universidade de Lisboa, 2014

O presente relatório apresenta-se como uma proposta didática subordinada a duas grandes temáticas do Programa de História do 9º ano do Ensino Básico: A Europa e o Mundo no limiar do século XX, Da grande Depressão à Segunda Guerra Mundial. Tendo como alvo alunos do 9º ano de escolaridade da Escola Básica 2,3 El-Rei D. Manuel I em Alcochete, a nossa intervenção letiva contemplou a abordagem de dois subtemas que – interligados entre si – são de vital importância para a compreensão de grande parte da história do século XX: “A Revolução Soviética” e “A era estalinista na U.R.S.S.”. Ali, pelo recurso à interpretação de imagens, à análise documental e à visualização de filmes da época, procurámos, por um lado, compreender como o agravamento dos antagonismos de caráter político-social e ideológico vividos na sociedade russa do início do século XX contribuíram para a instauração dum clima revolucionário que culminaria com a revolução bolchevique em outubro de 1917. Por outro lado, tentámos entender como José Estaline – elevado ao cargo de Secretário-Geral do Partido Comunista – acabou por gerir esta União das Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas com punho de ferro, abandonando a Nova Política Económica (iniciada por Lenine) e abraçando a coletivização agrária forçada e uma planificação económica centralizada. Perante tudo isto, foi nossa intenção desenvolver um tipo de ensino centrado e próximo ao aluno. Mediante a mobilização de diversos recursos imagéticos, documentais e audiovisuais procurámos espicaçar a sua curiosidade, a sua atitude de descoberta e a reflexão sobre temas que, porventura, não estão tão longe de nós como possa parecer, e assim, contribuir para um maior gosto pela aprendizagem e estudo da História.

This report presents itself as a didactic proposal subordinated to the two major themes of the History Program of 9th grade of basic education: Europe and the World at the edge of the twentieth century and From the Great Depression to World War II. Targeting students from the 9th grade of the 2nd and 3rd Cycles El-Rei D. Manuel I Basic School in Alcochete, our teaching intervention contemplated the approach of two vital and interconnected sub-topics regarding understanding of a large part of the twentieth century History: "The Soviet Revolution" and "The Stalinist era in the Soviet Union." By the use of image interpretation, document analysis and visualization of near-event movies, we tried to understand how the worsening of the political, ideological and social antagonisms in the early twentieth century Russian society, contributed to the establishment of a revolutionary climate that would end with the Bolshevik revolution in October 1917. On the other hand, we tried to comprehend how Joseph Stalin - elevated to the position of Secretary-General of the Communist Party - ultimately ruled this Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with an iron fist, abandoning the New Economic Policy (initiated by Lenin) and embracing a forced agrarian collectivization and a centralized economic planning. Given all this, it was our intention to develop a teaching method that was centred and close to the student. Mobilizing various pictorial, documentary and audio-visual resources, we sought to spur their curiosity, their discovery attitude and their reflection on topics that perhaps are not as far from us as it may seem, and thus contribute to an increased pleasure of learning and study History.
